Fraser Fir is closely related to Balsam Fir, and is known for its dark green needles and silvery undersides. A pleasing fragrance combined with upright branching, straight stems and excellent needle retention make this tree increasingly popular as a cut Christmas tree. This tree is also used as a landscape tree, but requires well-drained soils and plenty of water.
