Norway Spruce have short, dark green needles. Will grow reasonably well in shaded conditions, but does great in direct sunlight. This tree is a very fast grower and is often used by the landscape industry in wind-row projects or privacy fences. It is a tough tree adaptable to many conditions, and makes a beautiful and majestic adult tree.
